As well as ministering during parish Masses, Eucharistic ministers can take Holy Communion to people who are ill or unable to get out, whether temporarily or permanently. But in order to do so, we need to know who and where these people are.
If you know of anyone who would appreciate a visit, please let us know, via St Thomas’s.
But do remember that the Data Protection Act requires that if the person to be visited is in a hospital or home, then s/he must have requested a visit, either in person or through a friend or relative.
We can no longer simply go in and ask to see any Catholics who are in residence.
