10th Hayes Beavers

Purpose: To make new friends and have fun. Beavers is a branch of Scouting set up in the early 1980’s to provide an introduction to the Movement for boys of 6 – 8 years of age. The weekly meetings, designed by the leaders, introduce the boys to work individually and as a team and to a spiritual awareness; to appreciate their own abilities and to tolerate their failings as well as those of others.

The maximum size of a Colony is 24 boys. Boys from the age of 5 can join the waiting list and, following Beavers, boys will be able to gain entry to the Cubs.
