Adult Formation

Becoming a Catholic
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

Each year a small group of adult inquirers meets weekly to learn more about what it means to be a faithful Christian within the Catholic tradition. Sponsors from the parish community accompany them on their journey of faith. There is opportunity for questions and discussion at each meeting, plus prayer together. The process allows inquirers to discern whether God is calling them to enter into communion with the Catholic Church.

Occasionally small groups of returning Catholics meet with us. This allows those who left the Catholic Church, or drifted away from it, to learn about the changes in Catholic life over the last 20-30 years, and to find a way of re-entering the Church in which they were baptised.
