Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults

The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults is a process which gives an insight into our faith and our belief in the person and promises of Jesus Christ to adults who are not full members of the Catholic Church. Through prayer and reflection the RCIA Group helps adults who wish to know more about Catholic belief and practice.
It may be that such adults come from a non-Christian background, from other Christian churches and communities. Some who attend come from traditional Catholic families but have not for whatever reason, received all the sacraments when they were younger. Many Catholics who are returning to the practise of their faith also find the course very helpful. Increasingly, the course is attended by baptised and confirmed Catholics who want to know more about and deepen their faith. All are welcome
The sessions begin in September and, for those who wish, Reception into the Church and the celebration of the sacraments of Baptism, Communion and Confirmation take place at the following Easter. If you wish to proceed to reception of the sacraments, it is expected that you attend the classes and weekly Mass.

The Meetings take place on a Monday evening at 7.00pm
