Dear Parishioners,
It’s been wonderful to welcome you all back into church. The Mass booking system appears to be working well – please continue to let us know when you will be attending Mass by booking a place online (click on ‘Events’ in the left hand menu and select which Mass you would like to attend, then follow the booking instructions).
Dates will be added weekly for Masses the following week.
N.B. From 8th August, new Mass service times for celebration in church will be:
Monday 7pm
Wednesday 10am
Saturday vigil Mass 6.30pm (NEW ADDITION)
and
Sunday Mass 8.30am and 10.30am
Unfortunately, we still have to limit numbers to enable us to keep to social distancing guidelines, so we are asking people to attend only one Mass per week, during the week if at all possible.
We would like Sunday Masses to be for those parishioners who are working or have children at school during the week. The Sunday obligation is still suspended.
Everyone attending church is asked to wear a mask for safety. This also enables us to have a few more people in church than without masks. We have been advised that Mass should not be prolonged and congregational singing is not permitted. The church will be cleaned after every Mass as per government instructions.
Although we are not yet able to return to our old ‘normal’, I look forward to welcoming you all back to church.
