Dear Brothers and Sisters

Father Clement
Father Clement Nyarko

You are most welcome to our beautiful parish of St Paul’s in Cheshunt. I am delighted to have you join our parish family. At St Pauls we know that we are all individual parts of the mystical Body of Christ. Working together, we find great joy in doing God’s work here on earth. I invite and encourage you to join us.

If there is anything I can do to help you in your journey to grow closer to God, please do not hesitate to contact me. Our parish is proud to offer many opportunities for parishioners to come together in faith. However, if there is a personal or family need that requires individual attention,
please know our parish staff and I are always here to assist you.

If you would like to join the planned giving programme and also share of your time and talents, please complete the form enclosed within the welcome pack and return it to myself or to the Parish Office.

Finally, I pray that you find warmth and happiness in our parish and I look forward to getting to know you personally in the weeks and months ahead. God bless you and your family.

Parish Priest

The McKennas moving to new pastures

The Parish Priest and Parishioners of St Paul’s Church, Cheshunt wish to express their gratitude for the many years’ service you have given to our Parish.  Over thirty six years you have touched the lives of many people.  Maria, you have done so much to help the young people as Brownie leader, running the Children’s Liturgy and Mothers’ and Toddlers’ group, creating the tradition of the Gospel Nativity at Christmas, inspiring our teenagers as they prepare for Confirmation and teaching at St Paul’s Catholic Primary School.  John, you have always been there to help a new parish priest settle in, you have been a spiritual influence, a leader of the Parish Pastoral Council, a catechist, a Knight of St Columba and, latterly, skilfully led us in our response to the pandemic.  You have both contributed your musical skills, been Ministers of the Eucharist and through your charitable work with the local community you have opened our eyes as to how we can be true Christians.

The Parish Priest and Parishioners of St Paul’s Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, wish you God’s blessings on your journey of faith.
