Adults who wish to become Catholics begin their journey with a chat with Fr Rajiv any time from now till September. The actual course starts Tuesday October 8th 2024 at 7pm. The course is based at The Presbytery, 39 Duncan Terrace, N1 8AL.
You’ll be with other like minded participants on a course commonly known as RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults). Together, you explore all aspects of the Catholic faith supported by a priest, meeting weekly over 17 or more sessions. Some candidates have described their experience as ‘coming home’ and deeply rewarding.
Your journey culminates in being fully embraced as a member of the Catholic Church. This usually occurs at Easter but each one of you will have your own unique journey and discernment with the priest will help you decide.
There are no special requirements – simply an open heart and mind about Catholicism. You may have been baptised in the Catholic faith as an infant; baptised in another Christian church; or not baptised at all and new to the faith. Please come along.
We welcome all enquiries – chat to Sr Miriam or one of the priests or email us. If you’d rather fill out a form then that’s fine too. We look forward to hearing from you.
