Applicants for our preparation courses must be parishioners of St Bede’s.
CLOSING DATE FOR 2026 applications – Thursday 13th November 2025. Preparation classes will take place on Thursdays from 7pm to 8pm during term time, with Mass to administer the Sacrament of Confirmation taking place some time during May 2026 (date to be arranged).
Parents are the first teachers of their children, so it is very important that the candidates see Christian faith in action in their own homes. Parental support is essential if they are to grasp and understand what they will learn during preparation for the sacraments. Regular Mass attendance is a requirement for anyone approaching preparation for any of the sacraments.
Confirmation candidates must be at least 14 years of age during the current school year.
