Applicants for our preparation classes must be parishioners of St Bede’s.
CLOSING DATE FOR 2026 applications – Weds 26th November 2025. Classes will take place on Wednesdays from 5.30pm to 6.30pm during term time, with First Holy Communion Masses taking place the weekend of 9th/10th May 2026.
Applicants must be at least 8 years of age during the current school year (2025-26). Evidence of Baptism will be required.
Parents are the first teachers of their children, so it is very important that the children see Christian faith in action in their own homes. Parental support is essential if they are to grasp and understand what they will learn during preparation for the sacraments. Regular Mass attendance is a requirement for anyone approaching preparation for any of the sacraments.
