Fr Chris Vipers – Parish Priest
In a funny way, being here in Feltham as Parish Priest is a bit like coming home. I was born in one of our local hospitals, the West Middlesex, brought up in Ashford and went to school in Sunbury. After eight wonderful years in Anglican Ministry, I became a Catholic in 1996 and was ordained priest for the Diocese of Westminster in 1997. I’ve been a Hospital Chaplain, Youth Chaplain, Vocations Director, Pilgrimage Director and Parish Priest and now, I’m back where I started – almost. Being pastor of this great community is a real privilege for me. I’m just so grateful.

I am a member of the Sisters of Mercy. Since I came to St Lawrence’s in 1994 I have focused on the prayer life of our parish. I promote our prayer and faith-sharing groups, hold seasonal talks and reflections in Lent and Advent, lead the weekly prayer group and support Outreach, our parish project for evangelisation.
I also share in parish visiting of the sick, elderly and housebound.

Florie Fernandes – Parish Secretary
I have been Parish Secretary at St Lawrence’s since June 2011. I am from Cranford parish and have worked there as Parish Secretary since 2008.
The Parish Office is the administrative heart of the parish and I am ready to help with any enquiries.
I am usually in the Office on weekdays from 9.00 am until 1.00 pm.
Westminster Diocese adopts, promotes and implements policies for the protection of children and vulnerable adults. St Lawrence’s Parish policies incorporate Diocesan guidelines.
Our Safeguarding Officer works to ensure we comply with these policies, and receives training for his role. One of his duties is to arrange for all persons who work with our younger parishioners or vulnerable adults to be given clearance by the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB).
