Returning to Mass

A regular schedule of Masses has begun again.  In order to maintain social distancing, the number of people in the church at any given time is limited to 50.  (That figure may only be exceeded when a household group sits together.)  Entry is via the main church door, up the front steps, with the side door for exit only.  Toilets are not in use for the moment.  Seating and aisles have been marked out to ensure safe distancing for all those using the church.  The use of face coverings in the church is mandatory from 8th August.  For more information about the revised arrangements for Mass, see the Mass Guidelines page.

Mass attendance figures on Sunday have been getting close to our capacity, so it is recommended that you book a place for Sunday Mass each week, using the booking facility on the Parish Events page.  That will also enable us, if necessary, to provide you with information from the NHS Test and Trace service.  Your details will not be used for any other purpose, and will be deleted 21 days after the Mass for which you book.  When you book, you can choose not to have your details shared with the Test and Trace service.

We are in need of more volunteers to wipe the seating after each Mass, and to act as stewards at the Sunday Masses.  If you are able to help, please complete the Volunteer Form and return it as indicated on the form.
