Phase is the nominated charity for the Hitchin Fireworks this year. This is really exciting both from an awareness of their focus on the wellbeing of young people in Hitchin as well as an important fundraising opportunity. They get a donation for each volunteer they provide and it would be amazing that between all the churches if we could get 50 volunteers to help at the Fireworks on November 3rd.
Briefing is at 2.30pm and ideally volunteers will be able to stay until 9pm or at least until 7pm. Free viewing of fireworks, refreshments and a great example of the churches being seen to support a community event are on offer.
