Once a teenager begins Year 9 in Secondary School, we start to take applications for them to join our Confirmation Programme. There will be an initial meeting with parents and candidates in October followed by a list of dates and times of our preparation classes and Masses. The sessions are held in Sacred Heart Church on a Saturday afternoon. We cover topics such as Discipleship, Knife Crime, how to develop a Prayer Life, Human Trafficking and the Cardinal Hume Centre. The candidates also take part in a sponsored walk for a charity which supports young women in Africa.
