Kiddies Support Scheme (KiSS) is a UK registered charity, which supports vulnerable children and their families in Uganda. KiSS strives to promote the value of faith and the vital importance of strong and supportive human relationships as a tool for lasting development in Uganda. We aim to promote human and spiritual development through increasing access to, and awareness of, education and medical care.
KiSS has been well supported by our parish and The John Henry Newman School for a number of years, and many past pupils of the school and parishioners have visited the KiSS children over the years.

The long term aim at Kiddies Support Scheme (KiSS) is to help the families of KiSS to create better outcomes for their children. The core work continues to support over 200 children to access education and healthcare but incredible progress has been made over the last 25 years, enabling further Ugandan led projects to be developed and grow – for the benefit of the children, the families and the wider communities.
As can be seen on the map, the two locations where KiSS actively provides empowering and enabling support are some distance apart – Hoima is a town and Kasambya is very rural. If you are interested in finding out more, please visit the website.
