What and where are we?
The Centre is in a Grade 2 listed Regency Villa at 6 Cannon Hill, N14 7HG (next to St Monica’s Primary School).
What do we do?
The Centre provides a venue for a wide range of Parish activities and social events and its aim is to promote better communication and build community in St Monica’s Parish.
As well as hosting faith groups and preparation classes for Confirmation, several Parish groups are regular users of the Centre including a Babies & Toddlers Group and the Seniors’ Lunch Club. We also hold FREE Blues Music Nights on most Fridays.
Parish groups can use all our facilities for free; we charge other users to cover our running costs and to fund our programme of improvements and general refurbishments.
The Centre is an ideal location for wedding receptions, celebrations of Baptism and Holy Communion, birthday parties and all other types of family and social get togethers. We also organise several gatherings during the year to promote community life in our Parish.
So, the next time an event is announced, do come along, bring your friends and family, and meet your fellow Parishioners!
Finally, the Centre has a Bar that is open Thursday and Friday every week. For opening hours see below.
What facilities does it have?
Outside, there is a large garden with BBQ facilities and a play area for children. Inside, the ground floor has two large function rooms, with a bar and a kitchen. All the downstairs space is fully accessible, including an accessible toilet, and the rooms have also recently been refurbished to meet Health & Safety standards. Upstairs are four rooms, suitable for rehearsals, meetings and smaller scale activities. We also have some off-street parking at the front and side of the Centre.

When are we open?
Events can be held any weekday from 8am to 11pm and from 10.30am to midnight at the weekends, by arrangement.
The normal opening hours for the Bar are:
Sundays: 1pm – 4pm & 8pm -11pm
Monday – Wednesday: Closed
Thursday – Friday: 8pm -11pm
What do we charge?
Our current price list can be found on the notice boards at the Church and Parish Centre.
Who uses the Centre regularly?
The Knights of St Columba, Babies & Toddlers Group, Seniors’ Lunch Club, Parachute Club, Breakfast Club, Afterschool Club, St Monica’s Players, Centre Stage and the Fitness Club.
