New Safe Havens

Jayne McMenamin, Parish Pastoral Council member and Coordinator of Safe Havens on Lupus Streethas started giving out stickers and charters from those shops that have agreed to be a Safe Haven. A Safe Haven is a place (most often a shop) that has pledged to give shelter to youths being/feeling threatened, call the police as needed and have a no tolerance policy when it comes to petty crime in their shops. This scheme has been successfully implemented in various areas of London and helping to tackle petty crime (like shoplifting) giving safety to those who needed it.Below is the five new shops who have joined Safe Havens and pictures of their proprietors.
