In this video message for Easter, Cardinal Vincent expresses his joy at being able to celebrate the Easter liturgies with a congregation once more. The two key words of Easter, he explains, are sacrifice and service, embodied in Jesus, an example that is held up before us.

In a wide-ranging interview on how Catholic teaching can contribute to politics, business, the economy and society to build better for the future, Cardinal Vincent spoke about the contribution that Catholic charities are making to alleviating suffering, noting particularly the work of Caritas Bakhita House caring sensitively for survivors of human trafficking and modern slavery.

On Friday 9th April 2021, the death of Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh was announced. Following the sad news, Cardinal Vincent offered prayers for the repose of his soul:
