POPE’S INTENTION FOR JULY

Thank you to the parishioners who donated to and supported the parish sewing group last week. Repairs to our church’s soft furnishings are fully underway and will be ongoing over the next few months. Our community is increasingly made stronger through the people we meet in activities such as these. We become part of our parish’s history in the work that we do to preserve, repair and enhance our church, as much as the charitable work we do to help others. Many of the beautiful items we care for here have been donated, created or gifted to our church by its members throughout our long existence.

The sewing group will continue to meet every other Monday from 10am-1pm. Our next meeting will be on the 17th. All are most welcome to join.

In view of the closure of the parish’s bank branch, it would greatly assist the parish if those who donate by cash would move over to a monthly Bankers Standing Order. If you wish to do this please go to the website and download the Standing Order form.
