Sacramental Preparation

A Sacrament is an efficacious sign of grace, instituted by Christ and entrusted to the Church, by which divine life is given to us. Full and active participation in the sacramental life of the Church requires a period of preparation of both mind and heart to be receptive to the grace of new life in Christ.

Parents please note: All children attending non catholic primary schools are to attend the Parish RE Classes for a minimum of one year prior to joining the Parish Sacramental programmes. This is to ensure that those not receiving catholic religious education in school will have the opportunity to develop their knowledge and understanding of their faith to the same level as those studying RE at a Catholic School.
