Welcome to the Parish of

Hemel Hempstead East

We have two churches that make up our parish

Our Lady Queen of All Creation – Adeyfield

The Church of the Resurrection – Grovehill

Fr Kim Addison is our Parish Priest and the Presbytery is adjacent to Our Lady’s church.

The Parish of Hemel Hempstead East came into being from the re-organisation of Hemel Hempstead parishes in January 2019 and comprises of two churches; Our Lady Queen of All Creation in Adeyfield, and the Church of The Resurrection in Grovehill.  Please be aware that some information searched for on the web may refer to the older parish divisions.

The parish of Hemel Hempstead East is part of the Deanery of St Albans within the Diocese of Westminster.

We are a lively and active parish with many groups offering support and opportunity for faith development.  In pre-covid times, our Sunday 10:30 mass at Our Lady’s was geared towards families and young adults, with opportunity to socialise with the church community after mass with hot drinks and biscuits.  We look forward to re-enabling this in due course.

We are a friendly and welcoming community, and if you are new to Hemel Hempstead, we would love to meet you.
