Baptism
Individual baptisms of infants (aged under 7 years) usually take place on Saturday afternoons.
Parents wishing to have their children baptized over the coming months are expected to attend a Baptism Preparation Class.
Classes usually take place on the first Monday of the month at 7.00pm in the presbytery. (Please check the newsletter or with the parish office.)
There is no need to book for the class, just turn up.
Dates and times for baptisms can be arranged at the end of the class.
First Holy Communion and Reconciliation (Confession)
Children preparing for the Sacraments of Holy Communion and Reconciliation (Confession) should be in school year 3 or above.
All candidates should already be baptized.
Children are expected to attend all preparatory sessions.
At least one parent or carer must attend the adult sessions.
The closing date for applications to join this year’s programme is Sunday 26 November.
The application form can be completed on-line.
Confirmation
Candidates should be at least 14 years of age at the time of Confirmation.
Details for the Confirmation course will be published later.
