Sacramental Preparation

A Sacrament is an efficacious sign of grace, instituted by Christ and entrusted to the Church, by which divine life is given to us. Full and active participation in the sacramental life of the Church requires a period of preparation of both mind and heart to be receptive to the grace of new life in Christ. Baptism

If you would like your child to recieve the Sacrament of Holy Baptism please speak with the Parish Priest after Mass.  Parents  should be attending Mass  regularly at St John Fisher  before requesting this important Sacrament   

First Holy Communion

Preparation courses are open to all children in Year 3 and aged 7 or above. Program commences late January with weekly lessons for an hour on a weekday evening until the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion have been received.

Confirmation

Please contact the Parish office for more information.

Marriage

For those couples wishing or get married it is important that you notify the Parish Priest at least 6 months before your wedding date.

RCIA

Introducing new members into the Catholic Faith, following a course of instruction, culminating at the Easter vigil. If you are interested in becoming a Catholic please contact the parish office

In case you are admitted to hospital……..

In light of data protection please indicate on entering hospital that your details are to be passed to the RC Chaplain. Also state that you would like the RC Chaplain to visit you.
