Good Shepherd Sunday

The Fourth Sunday of Easter is known as Good Shepherd Sunday, after Our Lord’s words in the Gospel. He calls men to share in His priesthood as Good Shepherds, who are willing to lay down their lives for the sheep, as He was. It is a particular day of prayer for priests and vocations to the priesthood.

Seminarians visited parishes to speak at Masses encouraging prayer for priests and to encourage vocations.

Lord, send us priests. Lord, send us many holy priests! Amen.
