Visiting Redemptoris Mater

On the evening of October 13th, the Allen Hall seminarians travelled to Marylebone to visit the Redemptoris Mater (RM) seminary. The seminarians in formation consist of those living in Allen Hall, others in religious orders, and those part of the Neocatechumenal Way. As part of the Seminarian Brothership, Allen Hall annually visits RM. We were given a brief tour of the House of Formation and some background history regarding the Neocatechumenal Way.

The opening reception.
The staff & family of RM cooked a delicious dinner. Served by the seminarians.
We came together for sung vespers.
Fr Lorenzo spoke to us about the brothership of Allen Hall & RM.

The strong bonds of fellowship between the Allen Hall and RM communities have been nurtured, by the grace of God, over many years of prayer, service, and events that solidify our solidarity. We will always be grateful to our brother seminarians for their hospitality and cheerfulness which only grows along the path of Christ’s priestly vocation.

This November we pray in particular for the Souls of the Faithful departed – perpetual light shine upon them O Lord and may they rest in peace amen.
