Cardinal Cormac’s body will be received into Westminster Cathedral at 10am on Tuesday 12 September 2017. At 5pm on Tuesday 12 September 2017 there will be Solemn Vespers of the Dead, at which Cardinal Vincent will preside and Archbishiop Bernard Longley will preach. The Funeral Mass for Cardinal Cormac will be at 12 noon on Wednesday 13 September 2017.
Cardinal Vincent will preside and Archbishop George Stack will be the preacher. Cardinal Cormac’s body will be received into the Church of Our Lady of Grace and St Edward, Chiswick, at 8pm on Sunday 10 September 2017, and Bishop Mark O’Toole will preside at a Mass in Chiswick at 12 noon on MOnday 11 September 2017. Finally, there will be a Memorial Mass in the Cathedral on Wednesday 4 October 2017 at 5.30pm. At this mass, there will be an area of unreserved seating, and it is particularly hoped that anyone who might have wished to attend the Funeral Mass but was unable to do so could attend on this later date.
