Set up nearly 50 years ago, we raise funds for the less fortunate in society at home and abroad. We support up to 4 different projects each year, as well as responding to emergencies when they occur. Projects are often suggested by parishioners or have some significance for the Group. Our year begins and ends at Easter with a simple lunch on Good Friday.
With around 15 members, new members are always very welcome. We raise between £6,000 and £10,000 annually by organising a number of events during the year. Events range from book or cake sales, Christmas and Easter hampers, Quizzes, Bingo, and Fashion shows.
