The Parish Finance Committee is a mandatory consultative body that is separate from the Parish Pastoral Council. The members of the Finance Committee are appointed directly by the Parish Priest. The Finance Committee meets regularly with the Parish Priest to advise him on parish financial matters, The Finance Committee’s remit includes the stewardship and management of the parish’s finances, the production of an annual financial return to the Diocese, the organisation of planned-giving and gift-aid campaigns, health and safely matters, responsibility for the upkeep of the church, presbytery, and parish hall and crypt.
