PARKING IN OUR PARISH

Many of you are aware that Ealing Council recently re-introduced restrictions on the street behind the Priests’ house (Presbytery). A number of you, on the other hand, are NOT aware of this. Thus a few people have already received fines for crossing that area! They did not realise that a camera was installed on top of a lamp post there. Moreover, people read wrongly those signs which are displayed there… what it means is that NO CAR OR MOTORBIIKE can drive through that area UNLESS they have a special permit issued by the Council, which is called DIS 50.

I wrote to a few people in Ealing Council opposing the re-introduction of these restrictions, saying that it would create many problems for us who live here but above all else for our parishioners. I told them that there were going to split in two our property and it would make much more difficult for people to park in our premises. They ignored my emails and in fact did not even bother to reply to me. So if you come to our parish by car via Uxbridge Road, please remember that you can ONLY park in the car park beside the church. To park in the car park behind the Priests’ house, you will need to drive all around the block via Boston Manor Road and up again. Please remember NOT TO PARK in the car park behind the gym, as it is rented out on a permanent basis.
