On 27th September, our parish family came together to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Laudato Si’, Pope Francis’ call to care for our common home.

We were deeply blessed by the presence of Jane Mellett from Dublin, who not only led a heartfelt seminar with 28 participants, but also spoke at all our Masses, touching our hearts with her passion for creation and the simple, practical steps we can take to protect it.

Our sincere thanks to Fr. Vimal, who leads the Oblate JPIC in the Anglo-Irish Province, to Jane for her wisdom and inspiration, and to all who joined us in this special celebration.

May the seeds planted in our hearts grow into real actions for Justice, Peace, and the Integrity of Creation.

“Living our vocation to be protectors of God’s handiwork is essential to a life of virtue; it is not an optional or a secondary aspect of our Christian experience.” (Laudato Si’, 217)
