Catechists are a vital part of preparing our young people for First Communion and Confirmation. They need to be practising Catholics, who are Baptised and Confirmed.

As well as helping distribute communion when necessary in Mass, Eucharistic Ministers can also bring the Blessed Sacrament to those members of the community who are housebound and unable to come to the Church.

The Word of God has the power to touch the heart of humankind and so the Parish needs readers who can proclaim the Word. There is training for those who wish to read in Mass.

Accompanying the Priest in the celebration of Mass, the Altar Servers serve the community by enabling the full beauty of the Liturgy, so that all the congregation may participate more fully.
Altar Servers need to have received their First Holy Communion and should be committed to a regular Sunday Mass.

We currently have choir who sing at our 9.45am and 11.15am Sunday Masses. If you have been blessed with the ability to sing, please share your gifts for the service of the whole Parish!

The Junior Choir sing at the 6pm Saturday Vigil Mass. 8-14 year olds are encouraged to join!

This noble work is often invisible, but so very important. The cleaning team meet after 10am Mass on Mondays to prepare the Church for the coming week.

Behind the scenes of the Liturgy, there are those who feel called to help in the sacristy. This includes preparing the Sanctuary for Mass, cleaning and organising the linen and altar cloths, maintaining the vestments and albs, cleaning the Brass and precious metals, and replenishing candles.

The beauty of the flowers which withers, is the image of Christ who gives his life for the service of the humanity.
Arranging flowers to maximise their beauty is a great skill, and perhaps one you could help with.

Our Parish is blessed to have a repository to provide religious items, especially around Christmas, Easter and in the seasons of First Holy Communion and Confirmation. This requires committed volunteers to replenish stock and be available on Sundays.
