Our faith community can be nourished by active participation in parish groups that meet for prayer, social action, Sacramental preparation, youth work and the support of others in the life the Church. To share our lives in these ways allows us to offer ourselves and draw strength from each other.

Prayer Groups
Every Parish has a mission to pray; both for ourselves, the needs of the community, and the needs of the whole world.
The Rosary is prayed half an hour before each weekday Mass, all are welcome join in.
Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Primary School
A welcoming and friendly primary school which offers a happy place to learn and work. The Catholic Church has a rich history of providing education, so that all children may flourish and grow to their potential, and Our Lady’s continues this rich tradition.
Veneramus
On the third Monday of each month, our parish hosts an evening of Adoration, Prayer, teaching, music and confession.
Please join us from 7:30-8:30pm, followed by time for socialising for those who wish.
The 22nd Southgate Scout Troop
Our Parish boasts one of the largest and most welcoming Scout Troops in London. On Mondays and Wednesdays our Scout Troop meet in the Parish Hall and work to help young people develop towards achieving their full potential – physically; intellectually; spiritually, and socially.
The Bernadette Club
Meeting on the first Friday of each month from 2-4pm, the Bernadette a regular get together for the members of the Parish, held in the Parish Hall. It’s open to everyone but is particularly suitable for older parishioners. It’s the perfect way to meet people and to play cards, quizzes, board game, a raffle and, of course, bingo. Refreshments are served and if you need help in getting here it can be provided.
The club also organises outings in the spring and the summer; such as the seaside, a country house and afternoon tea.
Memory Lane
Self funding Alzheimer’s & Dementia Friday Club offering a wide range of activities for anyone experiencing memory problems. Providing tea, coffee, biscuits, snacks, sandwiches, cakes, singing, dancing, games, light lunch, day trips and entertainers or just sit and have a chat.
Please note everyone will have to be accompanied by a relative, friend or carer.
£2.50 each. Open every Friday from 10.45 – 1.45 in the Parish Hall.
Parent & Toddler Group
Meeting during term time on Monday mornings from 10:30am-12:30pm, this group provides an informal playgroup for parents and preschool children (0-4 years) that meets in the Parish Hall. There are lots of toys available for the children to play with and it gives parents a chance to share information and to make new friends.
The cost is £2.50 for the first child, and 50p for additional children.
Fair Trade
We are a Fair Trade parish! Granted Fair Trade accreditation in 2008, we are committed to using fair trade products, wherever practicable, at official parish functions. So all the coffee we drink after Sunday masses in the hall, for example, is fair trade.
