Flowers Arrangers Group
Our mission remains to beautify our church with floral arrangements that reflect the glory and beauty of God’s creation and enhance the worship experience for our congregation.
We create floral displays throughout the year, reflecting the seasons and rhythm of the Church year but in particular for Easter & Christmas. For Weddings and Funerals we can create displays or coordinated floral decor (colour) as requested. The flower team will not charge for their time, only for flowers, greenery and floral sundries.
Thanks to generous donations from our members and the congregation, we have stayed within budget and were able to purchase high-quality blooms for major events. We were also grateful for the donations of holly and greenery from parishioners’ gardens at Christmas and Easter.
We are an enthusiastic, friendly, supportive team who enjoy flower arranging (or learning how to do it) and we are always pleased to welcome new members. No professional flower arranging experience is necessary, just a passion for flowers and a willingness to help. Each flower arranger brings their own creativity and we have all learned by taking part and supporting each other. Many of us started with no experience. If you feel you would like to be involved in the flower arrangers group please contact the parish secretary who can pass your details to the flower group.
