Coronavirus Update

In light of the government’s advice asking for social distancing and reducing the number of public gatherings, there will be no masses celebrated at St Joseph’s RC Church, Wembley with effect from Saturday 21st March 2020 until further notice.

The Church will also remain CLOSED until further notice.

At these exceptional circumstances, the obligation of attending Mass on Sundays and Holy Days no longer applies. Please have no doubt about this.

This does not mean that we lose our love of the Mass or our desire to take part in the celebration of the Mass. Mass will be celebrated, day by day, in your Church. You can still join in for Mass, other Liturgies or for personal prayer.

Go to www.churchservices.tv or the “Online Mass Schedule” link for live streaming of Mass times.

Refer to the “Resources during Mass Suspension” link for resources on Liturgy, Prayers, Reflections and Pope’s Mass details.

The letter issued by the President and Vice-President, on behalf of all the Bishops of the Conference on the Advice on Coronavirus (COVID-19) can be found at the below link and will be regularly updated with latest information.
