March typically features the Selection Conference, where men discerning a priestly vocation are interviewed by a team of clergy and laity. Allen Hall Seminary offers the candidates a chance to spend the weekend with our community where they pray, socialise, and consider the path ahead alongside the seminarians.
The Selection Conference can be seen as the beginning of a man’s discernment with the Church. From here, many go on to Propaedeutic Seminary in Valladolid or spend the year in their diocese or join AH at a different stage of formation. Pray for all God’s clergy and the men stepping forward, especially for the dioceses of England, Wales, and Scotland.
