Sacramental Preparation

A Sacrament is an efficacious sign of grace, instituted by Christ and entrusted to the Church, by which divine life is given to us. Full and active participation in the sacramental life of the Church requires a period of preparation of both mind and heart to be receptive to the grace of new life in Christ.

Baptism

Parents requesting Baptism for their child are invited to come to Sunday masses before registering for Baptism preparation.

First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion

The children are prepared during the Easter Term for the sacrament of Reconciliation.

If your child is in year 3 or above you might be considering whether he / she is ready to be presented to the parish preparation programme to receive both the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.

The First Holy Communion mass is celebrated with the Sunday parish mass in May or June.

The sessions for both sacraments for children and parents are on Sunday mornings from 9.30 am.

Confirmation

The confirmation preparation sessions will start in January. Anyone who is willing to participate in this program can contact Giulia Kemp.

Teenagers interested in this sacrament are warmly invited to join parish Youth Mission gathering every other Friday.

If you have questions concerning sacraments contact Giulia Kemp coordinating secretariat of them.
