About the Parish

The Parish of Hoxton is situated in the Hackney Deanery. It was founded in 1863. The church foundation stone was laid in 1864, and the Church completed in 1866. 

Fr Paul Graham O.S.A. is parish priest of St Monica’s and is the Provincial of the Order of Saint Augustine in England and Scotland. He is supported by Fr Gabriel Tumba Hassan O.S.A (Assistant Priest), and Fr George Donaghy (Chaplain).

GOING INTO HOSPITAL – please let Fr Gabriel, Fr George or Fr Paul know beforehand if you wish to receive the sacrament of Holy Anointing. Or, when you get to hospital, inform the staff that you wish to see a Catholic chaplain.

NEWCOMERS to the Parish are invited to introduce themselves to Fr Gabriel, Fr George or Fr Paul, and to fill in a Parish registration form.
