Guardian Angel’s Stair Climber Appeal

Help us make Guardian Angels church accessible to all

WHAT IS A STAIR CLIMBER?
A stair climber is a battery-powered,
fully mobile piece of equipment that
ascends and descends staircases either
by seat or as a wheelchair carrier.

Guardian Angel’s is looking to purchase a Stair Climber to assist those who are unable to use the stairs. Guardian Angel’s Church is a listed building and it would be very difficult to install a lift to help those less able to use the stairs so we have managed to find an alternative which will help those unable, to use all of our facilities within Guardian Angel’s. This could be lifechanging for some of our parishioners who struggle to use the church facilities because of mobility issues and for wheelchair users who are currently forced to worship in Bow or in other churches where there is disabled access. 

The amount we need to raise for the purchase of the stair climber is £10,600.

Please donate whatever amount you are able to, be it £10 or £1,000 or more… every little helps towards reaching our final goal!

Any donation you can make will be helping us to get closer to being able to purchase this much needed piece of equipment.
