Daily Mass There will a Monday and Thursday morning mass at Buntingford this week. There will be a Friday mass at Puckeridge.
Saturday Confession The Sacrament of Reconciliation is celebrated on Saturdays at Buntingford 10.30- 11am and before the Saturday evening Mass at Puckeridge.
World Mission Sunday Today is the annual collection for Missio. There are envelopes at the back of the churches or simply place donations in the retiring collection. This year’s aim is to bring peace to South Sudan.
Hospital admissions If you go into hospital, you are unlikely to receive an automatic visit from the Catholic Chaplain. Please let the office know and ask the staff on the ward. The Lister Chaplain is Rev Anthony Curran 01438 285138 and at Princess Alexandra Fr Leszek Gamracy 01279 426017
The Children’s Liturgy takes place at Buntingford every 2nd and 4th Sunday during term time
Buntingford Roadwork’s Seem to be nearing completion, the road has been resurfaced and painted. However due flooding earlier in the week there may be more work in the near future.

‘Living our Faith’ Groups : We shall be following the Diocesan Booklet preparing for the Pope’s ‘World Day of the Poor’ on November 19th. This year we shall meet in St Richard’s Lady Chapel at 3.00pm on a Tuesday. For more details contact Martin Zetter 07771972444
The next Buntingford Coffee Morning & Raffle will be held next Sunday 29th October in Benson Hall after 9.15am Mass Donations in Aid of “The Daughters of Charity, and the Missionary work in Ethiopia” all are very welcome

St Thomas’ of Canterbury is currently looking for a new caretaker. There are notices at the back of the churches with more details, and more information can be found by phoning 01920 821450.
CHARITIES:
Missio: the money from the red boxes for Old Hall Green and Puckeridge will be collected on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th of November. Please empty the contents into an envelope with your name clearly marked, these will then be collected at Mass by Kathryn Riley

Pope’s Prayer intentions For October:
Workers and the Unemployed. That all workers may receive respect and protection of their rights, and that the unemployed may receive the opportunity to contribute to the common good.

Concert of Remembrance: All Saints Church Hockerill, Bishop’s Stortford, Saturday November 11th 7pm. John and Jo Tripp’s choir, Amici Cantate, have a special concert coming up including a full performance of Karl Jenkin’s “The Armed Man (A Mass For Peace)” in support of the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
