Before children receive their First Holy Communion, they must first celebrate their First Reconciliation. This sacrament is also known as confession and the Sacrament of Penance.
Children in Year 3 and older who live in the Parish and attend regular mass, are invited to begin preparation for First reconciliation and First Holy Communion.
These classes alongside attending mass, help strengthen and prepare the children to faith in Jesus Christ, and help them to participate more fully in the life of the Church and Parish.
FHC class are held on Saturday morning at 10.30- 11.30 am during term-time in the parish Church of St Richard of Chichester, Buntingford and enquiries about this Sacrament would need to be made after Mass.
