“And the King will answer them, Truely I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me”.
–Matthew 25: 40

Just as Christ Jesus sends his followers out as sowers of the word, to bring the Good News to all kinds of places. The seminarians embark on pastoral placements as part of their formation, gaining pastoral experiences that prepare them for priestly ministry. To enable these opportunities for pastoral work, the seminary arranges for supervisors such as hospital chaplains, head teachers, and many others to take seminarians under their wing and show them the outreach of the Catholic faith.
To express our gratitude to the supervisors who give us these possibilities, Allen Hall welcomes all the supervisors for its annual Pastoral Supervisors BBQ. The seminarians show their supervisors around the seminary and they have the chance to meet other seminarians who may be entrusted to them in the future, or even reunite with those previously with them. Thankfulness and joy characterise these occasions, and we pray for many more partnerships to give the future priests greater exposure to the grace of God in all areas of life.
