Saint Vincent de Paul Society (SVP)

The Society of St Vincent de Paul was set up in Paris in the 19th century by Blessed Frederick Ozanam and a group of friends.

The aim was to serve the poor and they called their group the Society of St Vincent de Paul based on the example set by the charitable life of St Vincent de Paul.

The SVP in Baldock focuses mainly on visiting the elderly, lonely and housebound.
