The Sacrament of Confirmation confirm and strengthens what happens in Baptism, when we are marked for Christ; called to become more like Him and to do His work.
The one who is confirmed receives the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Dear Parents/Guardians,
This form serves as an initial enquiry for the Confirmation Programme 2025/26.
According to diocesan guidelines, candidates must be in Year 9 as of September 2025, up to 17 years of age. (A separate programme will be offered for candidates over 18 who wish to be confirmed.) All candidates must be baptised or received into the Roman Catholic Church.
The programme will begin in September/October and run until May/June 2026, depending on the Confirmation date, which is set by the Diocese and cannot be confirmed at this stage.
Regular Mass attendance on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation is a vital part of the preparation. We strongly encourage families to attend together, especially during Christmas and Easter, when celebrations are held in our Parish. These are key moments in the Church’s year and candidates are expected to participate fully.
There is a £70 programme fee to help cover the associated parish costs.
Once you submit the form, please note that you may not receive an automated response. Do not worry — the Parish Secretary will contact you to confirm your child’s place, provide payment details, and inform you about the Parents’ Meeting, where you will receive all relevant course information and a class timetable.
Applications will close at the end of the day on Sunday, 21 September 2025. Late applications will be added to a waiting list.
