APPLICATIONS OPEN ON TUESDAY 1 JULY AND WILL CLOSE ON 21 SEPTEMBER.

Dear Parents/Guardians,

This form is an initial enquiry for the First Holy Communion Programme 2025/26.

To be eligible, your child must be in Year 3 to Year 6 as of September 2025 and must be baptised or received into the Roman Catholic Church. The programme will run from September/October to May, preparing your child to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion.

Regular Mass attendance is a vital part of the preparation. We encourage you to attend Mass as a family and to participate in parish celebrations, including Christmas, Easter, and other Holy Days of Obligation. We understand that some families may travel during holidays; if your child will be absent from a class or a celebration, please inform us in advance.

At the start of the course, your child will receive a Course Book, Missal, and Prayer Book, which are essential learning tools. More information will be provided at the Parents’ Meeting (date and venue to be announced). You will also receive the programme timetable at this meeting. Please note that attendance at the Parents’ Meeting is mandatory. If an emergency prevents you from attending, inform the Parish Secretary as soon as possible.

A £60 fee will be charged to cover programme expenses. After you submit the enquiry form, you may not receive an automatic confirmation. Please do not worry — the Parish Secretary will contact you directly with confirmation and payment details.

Applications will close at the end of the day on Sunday, 21 September 2025. Submissions after this date will be placed on a waiting list.
