Parish Social Committee

The Social Committee aims to organise events which bring parishioners together in a social setting, and also to raise funds for charitable causes. It encourages parishioners to participate in social events such as quiz nights, refreshments after morning Masses during the summer, cake sales, dinner dances, and afternoon teas.  The committee are also invited to support parish sacramental and outreach programs by organising a welcome reception for new Candidates after the Easter Vigil, mulled wine and mince pies at the carols service, the yearly Christmas gift collection for the sick and housebound, and high tea after the annual Mass for the sick and housebound.
