NEWSLETTER: 2nd SUNDAY OF ADVENT – 10th DECEMBER 2023

Fr Andrew writes…

CHRISTMAS PREPARATIONS

SPECIAL  ADVENT MASS AT LIMEHOUSE

On Sunday 17th December the usual 12noon mass at Limehouse will be moved to 6pm in the evening to allow for a special Advent celebration before Christmas when many parishioners will be away. Mass will be by candlelight, there will be a choir and refreshments afterwards. All are most welcome.

CHRISTMAS OFFERINGS

Special envelopes will be available shortly for you to put your Christmas offerings in. The collections at Christmas and Easter (together with offerings you give for masses to be said and for baptisms, weddings and funerals through the year) all go to determine the amount which the parish has to support a resident priest. Using the envelopes helps us to account for the Christmas offerings separately from your regular weekly offerings. All the financial support that you give for the parish is greatly appreciated and, along with your involvement in the life of the parish, it all helps to build up and sustain the parish and its works. Thank you.

SANCTUARY LAMP

If you would like to have our Sanctuary Lamp burning for a week before the Blessed Sacrament in memory of a loved one, please make a donation using the envelopes at the back of Church. This week the lamp is burning in memory of the deceased FCJ Sisters.
