There will be no Mass at Shenley on Monday 26th January.
A reminder that Fr Kevin will be signing Certificates of Catholic practice after Mass at Radlett on Sunday 25th January. Please make sure you have completed the form before presenting it for signature.
The Funeral Mass for Romesh Aluwihare will be held at Midday on Monday 26th January at St Bartholomew’s Church, St Albans followed by committal at Hemel Hempstead Crematorium. Please pray for the repose of Romesh’s soul and all who mourn him.
There will be a special Mass in thanksgiving for Cardinal Vincent Nichol’s ministry as Archbishop of Westminster over the last sixteen years. This is to take place on Thursday 5th February at 5.30pm in Westminster Cathedral. All are welcome.
The Funeral Mass for Fr Teave will be held on Tuesday 3rd February at 11am at Guardian Angels church, Mile End followed by burial at St Patrick’s Cemetery Leytonstone. Fr Teave’s mortal remains will be received into the church the day before at 3.30pm followed by a Requiem Mass at 7.30pm. Further details can be found in the newsletter.

There will be a special Mass for the sick on Saturday 7th February at Westminster Cathedral at 2pm, celebrated by Cardinal Vincent Nichols, during which Anointing of the Sick will be offered. If you would like to go please contact the Parish office and Anna will organise your free ticket.
We are looking for some parishioners to help lead Stations of the Cross at Radlett during Lent, at 10am on Fridays. Please contact Dcn Tony if you are able to help.
Churches Together are looking for a parishioner with admin skills to help collate the Churches Together leaflet. Please contact Anna at the Parish office if you are able to help.
Whilst the refurbishment is taking place at London Colney, weekday Masses will be as follows:
10am at Shenley on Mondays and Wednesdays and 10am at Radlett on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There will be no weekday Masses at London Colney and Sunday Mass will be at 11.30am in the Richeldis Hall.
If you have received any unwanted Christmas gifts, please consider donating them to our fundraising Tombola at London Colney. Thank you.
If you or a family member are admitted into hospital, please ensure that the senior member of staff on duty is aware that you are a Catholic and that you would like to see a Catholic Chaplain, otherwise there is no guarantee that you will receive Holy Communion or any other Sacrament, whilst you are in hospital.
If you are write a private prayer intention for the Private Prayer Intention box at London Colney, please note that these prayers are taken up with the Offertory and then destroyed immediately after Mass. The prayers are private and confidential and are not looked at before being shredded.
Mass intentions get booked up very quickly and if you are thinking about booking a weekend Mass, please note that we are booking three to six months in advance. The easiest way to book a Mass for your loved one is to call Anna at the Parish office, where you will get an immediate response on available dates in the Mass diary. Once your date is booked, please pop your donation into a brown Mass Offering envelope, available from the back of each church and either pop it into the Sunday Offertory collection at Mass, or give it directly to Fr Kevin.
Dedicating a Sanctuary Lamp; If the Mass date you have requested is unavailable, you could always dedicate the Blessed Sacrament lamp, (Sanctuary lamp) to your loved one. The light of the lamp burns for your intention for 7 days and 7 nights commencing on a Sunday. Please contact Anna at the Parish office for availability at each of our churches. Suggested donation £7.
