Parish Groups

Our parish community is enhanced by a variety of  parish groups. If there is something here that appeals, why not join it? If not, why not speak to Fr. Philip about starting something up?

Baby and Toddler Group

The parish baby and toddler group meets every Wednesday in term time from 9.45 to 11.30 am. All babies, toddlers, and their accompanying adults are welcome to come. If you would like to come, simply turn up at the door. There is a small fee of £2 per family, which ensures a warm hall, a good selection of toys, and for the adults, some of the best cakes in Surrey.

The Monday Club

The Monday Club is a small social group, open to all parishioners, that meets once a month on a Monday afternoon. Often the group arranges outings to various places, especially if it is a garden centre! The photographs are of our recent pilgrimage to Aylesford Priory and our Advent Lunch. If you would like to join the Monday Club, simply join us at the next meeting, which will be announced in the parish newsletter the week before.

We encourage all young people to get involved in parish life as Altar Servers, Ministers of the Word, Ministers of the Eucharist (after Confirmation), Catechists, Projectionists, and Welcomers. There is something for everyone! Those who take part in parish ministry are included in our Young Ministers’ Group, for which there is a training session and a trip/meal every term. If you or your child is interested in taking part, please speak to Fr. Philip.

The Catenian Assocation

The Catenians are an association of Catholic laymen who are committed to their faith, their families, to those in need and to each other. Their primary purpose is to establish a network of friends, which enhances their family life, strengthens their faith and sustains them in difficult times. They support each other, the Catholic Church, young people and those in need.
If you would like any more information, or wish to become a Catenian, please contact Dominic Falleiro whose details are as follows:

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee exercises strategic oversight over the parish finances. The group meets four times a year and reports to the parish priest and Parish-in-Council. Every year a financial statement is presented to the parish community. Members of this group are appointed by the parish priest.
