Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit, and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission.

Christian parents have an obligation to see that their infants are baptised as soon as possible after birth.

For the Baptism of an infant, at least one parent must be Catholic, and either resident in the parish of Wapping or regularly attending Sunday Mass in Wapping. In other circumstances, please contact the Parish Priest before completing the registration form.
