REPLACEMENT DOCUMENTS

If you require a replacement and/or recent copy of any Sacramental Document (Baptism/Confirmation/etc..) please note the following:

  • Send your request in writing or via email (with subject ‘Document request’) to parish office (telephone requests will be asked to do so before any registers are searched).
  • You will be asked to verify things you should know, e.g. date the sacrament took place, the names of the parents and Godparents, etc. – please do include this information in your initial request to speed the process up.
  • You can request data only about yourself, unless you have a power of attorney for the person on whose behalf you are acting (or it is for a minor you have a parental/legal responsibility for). Please also note that emails sent from email addresses not showing your name and/or showing different email address when ‘reply’ is selected, will not be responded to without sufficient proof of identity in order to protect privacy of our parishioners and to comply with legal requirements.
  • You will be asked for proof of identity to verify you are who you say you are. (Ideally this will include photographic identity when collecting in person or a combination of photographic identity and a utility bill where the replacement document is to be posted to you)
  • There is no set fee for replacement documents, but a donation towards administrative cost can be made via donate section of this website. Thank you.
