Three significant historical resources are now available on the website and are free to view and download.
“St Mary’s Church Hampstead” – this guide to the church and its history has been updated for the Bicentenary Year 2015-2016 and contains recently discovered material from the Abbé Morel’s birthplace in France.
Text of the talk entitled “The Abbé Morel and the Parish of St Mary” given in St Mary’s Church on 13th September 2015 which highlights the importance of the Abbé Morel’s arrival to 18th century Catholics in Hampstead and the subsequent development of the Parish.” A translation is available in French.
The third is a insightful collection of stories from parishioners about the Church spanning 80 years. Piers Plowright a parishioner is editor of this delightful booklet.
